Ikea Dioder Set Up For My Double Wide

My double shelves have a little room, compared to my single which are very snug. I have a dioder kit for the single that I think I will remove, buy a couple of new strips of led's and install.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I had thought about hanging them vertically but I don't have the tools/skills/time to cut plexiglass without screwing something up that would cost me a lot to fix. It would definitely help getting more light to the lower shelves.
