i think the market in the end will dictate what something is worth or what not. and it also tests the nerve of those asking the high prices. how much perserverance are they willing to give to get what they want. sure, there are a few out there who pay big prices, but those people are few, and im sure they are careful with how they splurge their hard earned.

It is rare that I even see a collector's item go for above retail on the resale market.
