Looks like somebody did - I can't find it for sale on ebay now but see some other things from (I think) the same seller...

I bought them.

I was in contact with the seller.
Big Tacos were the donors
And not too likely they'll be "mass" produced as two pairs of lenses were wasted to make the pair listed on eBay. Just not worth it according to the seller.

Hello everyone!

I did not realise successfully cutting an R2 would generate a forum topic!

And yes to answer all speculations, donor is big taco with the same curvature and still fits right through the centre. And is perfect fit to the frame.

Okay today I successfully cut another 1, this time the tungsten iridium without wasting lenses in the process but definitely takes longer to cut than other frames, even longer than the Romeo 1 frame.

So probably it will take sometime to master cutting the R2 lenses.
Anyone who wants it, who can PM me but at the moment only black and tungsten iridium are the only colors available.

Thanks for the insight @xmetalmaniac. That cut looks way too time consuming to ever be profitable. If they are cut from goggle lenses, they're going to be very flimsy in that half frame.

It is very time consuming and not so profitable i second that but doable.
