Jawbone Echelon Finishes

Maybe it's just inconsistencies in production. Material supplier change, or manufacturing adjustments. Kinda like how we see variations in the ruby lenses.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble... Like Splice said there is inconsistencies that can happen at manufacturing level. There was never an echelon glossy, this product was always intended to be matte carbon fiber with VR50 trainsition Ruby Iridium lenses.... The fact that anybody got a pair of gloss echelon jawbone was that it was a manufacturing error that produced the wrong lot. As oakley produced other Jawbones with the glossy carbon clear but not the echelon line. To the other forums that got the product from the Vault and the product has a "D" on the label, that only means that product was discontinue from oakley's production. An that's the end of the Inventory they had, as they are trying to get rid off everything they have for that SKU. Yes they may seem rare but to be honest that product was never advertised or intended to be sold in a glossy finish. So if you have a matte finish one with the VR50 transition and Ruby Iridium, you have the originals. If you have the glossy, you bought the tail or a mistake they made in production. SORRY.........
