Jawbone vs racing jacket lenses

For casual wear, is there much difference between the non vented jawbone lenses bs the vented racing jacket lenses?

I believe they are the same lens. Oakley had to change the name from Jawbone to Racing Jacket.

Actually the jawbone came with vented lenses and non vented and racing jackets use the exact same lenses as the Jawbone. It you like a certain lense it will work in both, the vented lets more air in

I know that the lenses are the same, just wondering how necessary for casual wear the venting is on the lens.

I have prescription in my racing jackets they are non vented, they do great as a daily wear

Theres no functional difference. But if you are wearing them casually, the vented lenses look very sports equipment like while non-vented, especially iridium coated lenses look less sports equipment like. Black Iridium or other black grey lenses in particular passes more for more casual looking glasses.

Depends on person. Non-vented has been a non-issue for me even with cycling.

I prefer the non vented if going more casual. But they are trickier to find now! Good luck!
