I noticed each box has a different year for the copyright and some have a different "rev" number. Do these numbers provide any useful info on the glasses? Thanks.

Right but what about the 70N466 9/01 REV. A? Thanks.

Is that date accurate for the manufacture of the glasses?

I'll bet the number on the box is the actual box part number with revision date. Meaning the box has an internal Oakley part number. Just a thought anyway.
