I scored some new old stock lenses and arrived this morning I thought I had one Ducati lens but I got two sets but both different shades anyone know what they are or are they the same but slight variations?

One could be grey, or just same lens but different batch.

I've seen several varying Ducati lenses including the actual font of the "Ducati" etch. My guess is the "earlier" generation Ducati lenses did not have the hydrophobic coating that the later gens do.

The later gen Ducati lenses (with the Hydrophobic coating) have a more pronounced "mirror" reflective coating than the earlier ones. Just my observations from a couple of X-metal Ducatis (early gen) owned in comparison to a couple of later gen non-serial Carbon Ducatis I've owned in the past.

By the way, this is also true (per my observations) of ice iridium lenses. The earlier ones don't mirror reflect as defined as the later gen Ice lenses.
