Ti frames with rootbeer rubber from @discostu and Titanium Iridium lenses BNIB from @saulsaul:

The Titanium lenses are much more reflective and much less see-through brown in the flesh.

Pretty harmonious combination, I reckon. Thanks for the components guys!

Two new lenses from IH: Chrome in the x-metal frame and G40 Photochromic in the carbon. Wore the G40s out this morning in watery sun that ducked behind rainclouds occasionally and they did the job very well.

The light is behind the glasses unfortunately, so you don't really see the mirror on the Chromes.

Cheers Stavros. I find they fit well, and my head isn't the smallest

X-metal/ruby is such a classic, if I had to recommend one colourway that might well be the one.

Declared for full purchase price. Customs add the shipping cost to that and charge VAT, import duty and a handling fee. The charge was about 1/4 of the purchase cost + shipping.

Hopefully the pair coming from the US right now are spared the additional cost, although the purchase price was a lot lower on those anyway. The pair coming from Spain are thankfully exempt!

You can see why I'm wary of paying the asking price on 24k Juliets....
