Juliet Rough Finish

Got this pair of used Plasma frame Juliets, which I believe are 1st gen. I had read some references to a somewhat rougher finish on the earlier models. I was a little surprised by the extent of the roughness. For the experts out there, is the rough finish you see in this pic fairly normal? The area photographed is probably the most glaring example, and there are a few other areas that are a bit less rough than this.

It's normal. The pair I let go had a few weeks ago had a few imperfections as well. I should have kept it. This is probably more pronounced than the ones I've seen before.

I beg to differ. The lugs for the orbital screw show facets from some process - probably a semi-rigid wheel.

Definitely. It's those rough spots that these 1st Gens a distinction!
