Juliet Ruby Lens Question

This photo I think illustrates the difference. The Juliets in the distance are my x-men movie release glasses with the original lenses, the R1s to the left are Fire Iridium, and the Polished Juliets up front are the "Ruby Iridium" or fruebies of recent years. A very fitting name because they can clearly be seen as a mix of both.

Thanks for the great references Esscaster, as well as everyone else who has replied. It's really tough for me to tell, as when I'm inside, they look a bit more like the "Fruby" lens, but outside (as seen from the pic), they have that great Deep Red look to them. I DO know that they are not quite as optically clear (just a shade darker tint) as the Ruby lenses on my Straight Jackets. I think I'm just going to have to have someone cut me a set from some of those and just call it a day. Then I'll figure out if I want to get another set of frames to put those in or just get rid of them along with the BIP lenses.
