    i feel like I should know the answer but I can't confirm it.
    What year did Oakley release the Juliet line?
    I'm trying to find the year of a pair of gen1 that I picked up. The serial# starts with JI and there plasma/ice
    Any idea?

    The only thing is we have a Juliet coin for 1996 that is suppose to be for these glasses, or at least that's what I was told. I'll get the coin this weekend maybe just a typo on his part and he meant it was a 99 coin.
     
  4. Juliets came out in 1999 and the Romeo was first in 1997. 1996 has to be a miscommunication.

    The Juliet coins don't specifically date a pair, the date is when the model was first released.

    There is an X-metal coin from December 1996 when they officially launched the line but it does not say Juliet on it.

    I can't seem to save the image on my computer and upload, but it can be found in Oak's collection on the O Review. He calls it the X-metal launch coin in his collection.
