Leaving Stick On The Lens??

Is it ok to leave the sticker on the lens of a new pair of glasses or should it be removed? I have never actually kept a pair for collecting and now that I have some I don't know if I should take the sticker off to avoid long term damage? Thanks

Sticker won't hurt anything. Very mild adhesive.
