Lens Cutting For Old Racing Jacket

Hello everybody,

Yesterday I joined Oakleyforum.com and i got really excited about lens cutting.
I though I would give it a try. And so I did.
I got a pair of jawbone violet iridium lensen as donor.
Since I have seen the tutorial about lens cutting (thanks for that!) I tried it.

and it worked! I am very pleased with te result.

Good to know. So curvature 8.75 is good for the old Racing Jacket's.

the jawbone lens is big enough for the old racing jackets? no gaps or issues? looks good!

thanks for the compliments,
I used a vented lens, so there are a couple of small gaps. But if you use a lens without vents it fits oke.

Do you have a caliper? Could you measure maximum height and width of your old RJ lenses?

Aloha and welcome! Great job for your first mod on the forum! Good info to have, hopefully I can cut some spare lenses for my water jacket.
