Thanks bro, I'm about to try sanding it but i try the LG lens on my R1 Plasma frame and to my surprise it works ..perfect fit..i think my polished R1 frame got the problem because ive try to put the OEM fire lens on them but also did not fit (the screw cannot be close) .

yeah, I think you have a problem with your polished R1... you know what, sell those frames to me and that will solve your problem. lol!

nah, ill buy another set of LG silver mirror lens and do the sanding process instead

But is it just the R1 or do all the X-Metal frames have this issue is my question.

from what i heard, the xx might have variances base on generation (i believe 1gen have smaller orbitals) unlike the r1 where it's a lot more random (even on a single frame)

IMHO the only way to get a perfect fit for your R1 is to trace the oem lens and cut your own.

Best advice.... and it would be OEM lenses....
