    After reading a comment Dr. Chop posted in one of his threads about locking your own exchange thread, I dug around and found another simple way to lock your own thread without having to ask the mods to do it for you. Up in the top right section of your thread, click the "thread tools" drop-down. Uncheck "open" and it will lock your thread for no further replies. I'm not sure if this has been covered before, but I sure didn't know about it. Seeing how there are a lot of posts requesting mods to lock threads, most forum members don't know about it either.
