I've been saying, round lenses are making a comeback.
But I think it's a bounceback effect - first you have some high-ends setting trends, which celebs pick up, which become popular by example, which creates cheap-ass generic clones for the masses, which makes the style more accessible, which makes it more widespread, which leads to more high-end varieties... until the next thing comes out and we start all over again.
Seems like fashion recycles every few decades.
