Mag Switch Etching

Always something new. I picked up those Mag Switches that TxCrosshair had offered and they turned out to be a pristine pair and unusual - at least to me.
These have "magnesium" etched in the left lens where we are accustomed to seeing etching on OEM lenses. I've not seen that before and I have several other pairs of this style in all three colorways that do not have this etching.
Anybody else seen this etching before?

I think there are generations on this model too, Mine doesn't have an etching either. I'm not sure if the Gen 1 has the etchings or not

Both my Dark Carbide and my Ti Copper have 'Magnesium' etching. To me, I think it's more desirable than a non-etched version!

are these legit? Ive manage to check it personally.. 1st thing ive noticed was theres no " magnesium" etching in the lower left lens..
it came with original pouch. the guy told me that he bought it brandnew in a mall 7 yrs ago but no box..ive checked it carefully, couplers were very tight.. no marks at all (frame and lens) it was clean..
