Mars C Clips

Hi. Does anyone have any pointers on changing the c clips on the mars at all?

It sucks lol.

Use a small flat blade screw driver to start to twist the nubs and open the c clip, but be careful. The c clip will probably break, but I've seen nubs break as well

Put some tape (painters or electrical) on the lenses close to the c -clip in case you have a slip.
I use needlenose pliers to squeeze the clips tight- I tried hemos but they did not generate enough clamping force to bend the new clips.

Not trying to start sh*t, but how does a cir-clip tool work on a "c" clip? There are no holes in a "c" clip for the cir-clip tool to latch onto.

you just grind the nubs flat on the expander so they have something to bite on, the one i linked probably wont work you will need to find a smaller pair but i just posted that for reference.
