    Hello people. I just got my first Mars pair, and it came with prescription lenses, so of course i need to exchange them. What I can't figure out is how to remove the lenses, since for all my X-Metals i've been using the good old T6-Torx screwdriver. Which tool or tools are used for this model, and are there any tricks to it? Is it just a regular flat head screwdriver?

    I'll tag a few experts, but anyone feel free to jump in,

    @xmetalmaniac @THE X-MAN @LinusOBerlin @kronin323

    Thanks in advanced for any help

    And pay attention on the c clips, they can break if you change lenses

    Try it with blade, then small screw driver. better taped the notch with masking tape.
    Just press once in closing it with small pliers.
    The pliers teeth needs to be taped throughly to avoid marks ;)

    I use a carpenters razor blade to gently spread the orbital tabs.

    Could try using a pair of piston ring pliers: they opperate in reverse, so squeezing them opens them. Releasing them applies a pressure.

    The problem with that is those pliers won't get between the tabs. Anybody that owns a pair of Mars should buy a half a dozen C clips from linegear anyways.oem clips are heat treated and they crack too easily.

    Thx guys. It worked out with the blade, but I lost one of the C-clips. I need to send this beauty to @THE X-MAN anyway, so I will have a few days to get some c-clips anyway
