More Fakes On Ebay....

I would only buy from the guys right here on the forum
E Bay is good but you have to buy from trusted sellers and study the item closely have had some really good purchases from there but the prices are on the rise but also good for lenses and rubbers . As for the copies they may well become collectables in their own right especially the really good ones as long as they are noy being sold as the real thing .

Each to their own Bro I like to see what is out there and like to collect everything associated with X metal as there wont be anything new from Oakley at present . I wont however put them with my first ever pair of X metal Romeos of course which I purchased brand new with a serial number below 2000 but I may start a new cabinet for associated stuff .

i know this is about ebay sales...but i just noticed a couple of fakes going on a site called gumtree here in australia....at $150 they look like a steal....but not for the untrained in the ways of the xmetals...quite sad really
:mad-35:

Another fake on Ebay, high in price as well:

Told the seller, he should mention this in his auction or delist the item, but he did not listen. Also contacted Ebay about it.. oh well, someone will be pretty mad when they get the glasses. I actually asked the seller if the screws (where the rivets would be) were flathead or philipps - he answered flathead ;)
