Getting a little off-topic but the 51%+ corn content of American Whiskeys is too sweet for me... I prefer the 100% barley-based Scotch Whiskys or Irish Whiskeys...

My wife can't cook either, but damn see looks nice trying - even better with my Oakley on. Come to think of it she looks great with JUST a pair of my Oakleys on. So perhaps not such a deal breaker.
