My first attempt in restoring my 17 year old Juliet's

Thanks again all for your input. Just received the finished product. I must say. No regrets!!!!

It's like receiving a brand new pair of juliets to include the look and feel. I kinda got sick of the bone plasma look after 17 years of ownership!! I love them even more now!

Congrats on your new pair! What lenses to put in now?

Thank you. Good question... My first choices are Ruby or Ice:

or 1st gen fire?

Other choices :)

After 17 years, she finally has a companion. I have a feeling that my Madman's/Badman's will now be ignored :)

I have a question for Mark or anyone here. If a 4th gen juliet gets an x-metal refinish, will it get a rough texture like the 1st gen Juliet's or will have a smooth new gen plasma feel?

Also, how does the "blasting" process work? Is this just painting with an airbrush or a much complicated process?

These purple lenses NEVER worked well with the bone plasma. Used once in five years and never again but it found a new home!

Thanks guys.

Would you guys switch the lenses between the two? Right now, carbon frame has an aftermarket Ruby. If I do switch them, BNIB OEM ruby will go on the xmetal frame. I'm trying to minimize the lens changes as much as possible. I hate mounting chips!!

So I couldn't help myself but open my NIB ruby lenses....don't plan to resell anyways. My very first love and the reason I'm hooked with Oakley's!!!
