"In the War Room he was meet by the CEO Colin Baden, SVP of Global Marketing Scott Bowers, VP of Global Sports Marketing Pat McIlvain, Baseball Sports Marketing Manager Garry Gant and the head of watch design to develop a one of a kind watch.

Oakley wanted to recognize Ichiro’s two major feats in the 2009 season with a special gift, a one of kind, designed by Suzuki himself – Timebomb II watch. Ichiro chatted with the team in the War Room going over what he would like to see his watch look like when completed.

Upon leaving the building Suzuki was given the first pair of Carbon C-6 sunglasses that Lance Armstrong had worn in the final stage of the Tour de France, to try on and pose for photos."
