Need color suggestions...

You think? I've done a couple custom mixes where I added a little graphite black to patriot brown just to darken it up a tad. Really nice color. Maybe it would look better than I'm imagining. Lol

Haha, hard to say, but ultimately up to you I guess. Personally, I'm diggin that black frame with FDE icons though.

Leave the icons in place, color them with the frame. Do an all-over black, followed by a coyote fade on the stems with the old-school snakeskin camo on the front of the stems into the orbitals.

I did my Tens like this with a rattlecan tan and VR28BIP, absolutely loved them. They started to wear off, as well, as rattlecan camo jobs tend to do. I'm tempted to get them to a certain point and send them off for a matte clear coat.

Good idea. I might play around with something like this. Originally, I had decided against camo since I do so much for other people. It was starting to get old, but the snakeskin is something pretty unique that I don't do very often. Good one!

I'm digging this one and the black/FDE icons so far.

Here's my Ten. They're ugly, but dang I like how they turned out.

Looks badass. I like the way rattle can jobs wear, at least on firearms. The only way to achieve that with Cerakote is to replicate it because of its durability. I've got some guns that have seen some really hard use and the Cerakote never seems to wear.

Here's the pics from when they were new. Much less happy with them then. I did a quick no-prep rattlecan job. Wiped the frames, grabbed some mesh we had from a parts shipment, sprayed, dried, done.

They look great, man. Love the look. Did you soak the arms before trying to remove the icons?

The Gascan icons are a lot bigger, so they should be easier to remove without damaging. I've got a new set I plan on using, but I'd still like to keep the old ones for spares.
