Odd - no vents behind the icons?

Not all Hijinx have vents on the backside of the icons.

Regarding vents, no-one really knows.
My guess is that a lot of vented frames were made with the intention that the vented icon models would take off. Then, when they didn't, Oakley used the frames for other models rather than throw them away.
