Haha, nope, I was asking because I am in the middle of the desert and can only shop online or the BX/PX, which doesn't sell Oakley stuff of course. I want to see what people think about this watch...

We have also been asked to show you a picture of the inner quartz movement. Unfortunately we cannot open the back of these as it could affect the warranty, but it has an efficient gold plated, five-jewel quartz movement.

$500 seems like a lot for only a 5-Jewel movement.

After further review, $500 is about right compared to Oakley's other watches. The Holeshot and Gearbox have a 4 and 5 jewel movement, respectively, and cost more.

You're quite right, Jason. Most Oakley Watches with a Gold Plated 5-Jewel Movement are either of a similar price or more expensive.
