I earlier heard some rumors of a new OTT coming out this year.

Did that turn out to be a red herring or has anybody gotten additional info or confirmation?

Considering original OTTs now go for up to 3X MSRP, I wonder what starting MSRP they'd put on new ones, now... at least $400?

Call me pessimistic, but I don't think the Luxottica Oakley will ever do something as outside-the-box as a new OTT. They seem to be more on the conservative/ conventional side of the fence.

I can't see Luxley doing that...although they're flirting with it with such looks as the Madman and Tailend although those are pandering products more than actual innovative pieces.

Nah- $1,500. If they're smoking the crack that had them announce the general release BM and MM Ferrari's at $500 in mass quantities they can release a special edition and market it as "The 150 for $1,500".
