New Wiretap

I just noticed that they have pix of the New Wiretap up on O-Review. It sure looks like a slightly modified Half Wire XL to me. I know there was a Half Wire 3.0 scheduled for release this fall. Does anyone know if they just changed the name of the HW3.0 to New Wiretap? Or is there a HW3.0 in the works as well?

I don't know about the name change, but the pair looks great to me! I'm a huge fan of the Wireframe Oakley's, so I'm more than happy about this. I like the stems

Also, the Nanowire 4.0 popped up online! Prob. my favorite Wireframe line. But I digress. I'm excited about the Wiretaps! (Kinda wish they used a different name...)

The earstems definately remind me of the Wiretap. However the general styling is quite like the Ice Pick, but then as a wireframe.

Yeah you're right, the front does look like the Ice Pick! Which is pretty sweet. One of my favorite pairs. I'm pretty excited about this pair though. The prices seem a bit steep though...
