If I'm not mistaken, gift payments usually require trust on the buyer's side. The seller is the one that benefits from "gifting", as by avoiding the PP fees. The buyer is taking all the risk by "gifting" a payment, as they are not protected by PP in the event they are scammed. There's been a lot of scamming happening here lately, check the threads. Word of caution to all buyers...avoid paying as a "gift" and just deal with the fees, better safe than sorry. GLWS.

I really don't care about gift payment or not as seller so long as buyer pays the fees.
So, it's buyer benefiting from paying less instead.
