Noob Quest:Does Jawbone True Carbon Fiber A Real Carbon Fiber?

It's just a faded checker print, wasn't my cup of tea. If I had one of the Tru Carbon Fiber frames from the Echelon Radar, especially in matte, I might be singing a different tune.
