It's really sad to hear about it. I hope him to get well soon!

We are approx. the same age and when I stopped riding (just as a hobby rider) ten years ago he was at that time one of the bests. On the other hand it is a pleasant surprise that he is still active.

That is no good. Mountain biking is quite fun until you make a mistake. I try to ride every weekend and I do feel bad for this guy not being able to do what he loves.

Yeah injuries are tough... And a broken pelvis is one of the worst injuries you can get.

My buddy broke his clavicle and scapula a few weeks ago...

My other buddy just broke his wrist...

And I just jacked my kidney in a crash... Also took a rock to my head in the crash.

Always wear your helmet kids!

I was about to say this current wreck makes a little more sense why his break was so harsh, he just broke his pelvis 5 months earlier. He is so damn lucky he and his friends had some cool heads given the circumstances.

I started riding DH in about '92, gave up in about 2000, thinking about getting right back into it...
Cedric has been a hero for a long time, but judging by his fb posts he'll be back into it in no time.
But I guess the older you get the longer it takes to heal.
