Oakley Fading Out?

not to throw more in the fire, but when I think about it, it's not just that Oakley stopped being creative, but they're following design trend instead of leading it. Guess you can call that the same as not being creative, but in more specific terms.

I mean in whole view of eyewear, it'd kinda be like other brands trying to compare to Oakley, now it's scarily looking the opposite.

Here is basically what you can walk away with on this topic:

Oakley is one of the best told stories of a self made billionaire college dropout men in modern America. A person took an idea, ran with it, repeated, and dominated a complete market. While others scrambled after repeatedly saying "it can't be done", Jim proved not only could it, but it would be immensely popular. Now, Some 38 years later, after having sold his empire for over $2bil, it is now meeting it's undoing by the very same companies who baulked at the creativity and only followed the trends. So, realistically, it is a story of success and it's rapid undoing. It has taken only a about 5 times less the amount of time to break down, what it took to build. Pretty impressive about being unimpressive.

That disruptive by design video should have the nine inch nails song "closer" as background music instead. Then the video should end with the beating of an old horse by forum members armed with claw hammers!
