Hello everybody,

So one day I was looking at replacement lens for my Fast Jacket on Oakley's website, and I am looking for polarized lens. So i looked around, and I noticed two of the polarized lens for the Fast Jacket has the same name (Black Iridium Polarized), same size, but different SKU number, with a little difference in color. The SKU number for the lens are 43-332 and 41-886.

So I emailed Oakley, and they told me that they are identical lenses, except that the SKU 41-886 have a hydrophobic coating (repels from water, sweat, and dust), while 43-332 does not. I don't know if that's true, doesn't all lenses have a hydrophobic coating? And, can anyone tell me what is the difference between those two lenses exactly? Thanks.

Here's the link for the Fast Jacket lenses for your convenience: http://www.oakley.com/en/mens/sungl...ement-lenses/product/W0OO9097R?skuCode=41-886

Thanks for reading this post.

Thanks for reading this post.

They had changed their standard for adding hydrophobic coating from the factory to lenses awhile back unfortunately. The 886 is likely old stock when it part of the original manufacturing process from the factory, that would be the lens to get IMHO.
Here is some previous discussion on the topic. Welcome to the forum. :welcome:

Wow, I never knew about this. Thanks for the reply. Will probably buy it ASAP before it ran out of stock. Thanks again.
