Some people can weld titanium, you can ask locally? Altough I don't know X metal's specifics on welding possibilities

I dont have the bit that broke off.

At least they could weld maybe the frame so that it closes around the lens, it will be permanent fix.

"Tig welding titanium" on google brings some results on the matter, I am sure you can find welders locally, and for sure welding x metal has been discussed on this forum at some point.
