Jeeez. One of the guys on the first thread you posted has put me off. I have heard they break very easily. Was looking to buy a black frame then get a custom ruby lens installed but, a bit wary now. Thanks for the heads up on those links though.

Yeah, just realised that. I have seen a couple of pic's of broken orbitals and ear stems on the net. Didn't know they were that fragile.

Earlier examples of O-Matter are indeed fragile: that's why I've stopped wearing my Moons and my Eye-Jackets among others. They are beautiful but best treated as the works of art they are and admired in your collection rather than worn and broken.......

Edit: brittle is the word.

Yeah moons are reputed to break by breathing hard on them. For durability, get a Mars.

Yeah brother, leave them as is, put them on a shelf, don't even look at them funny.
