To a finite point on a short-sighted business model, yes.

But then, nearly every frame is limited to a certain degree, as frames come and go and get discontinued. It's all relative. I still think it's down to uncertainty in Oakley management as to what will sell well and what won't.

I think they've been bitten in the a55 with a few frames they've expected to sell well recently. They are not making so many must-have game-changers as they used to.
