Buying Oakley Surfboard

Has anyone ever dealt with taking paint off a board????

I would think it would come off pretty easily since the original finish should have alot of clearcoat on it? But what do you use to strip off the secondary coat without taking the clear off the original finish? I would think a surfboard shop might know?
