Oakley Watches Now EXLCUSIVE To Shade Station!

Shade Station

Oakley Retailer
462
703
Leeds, UK
We have been discussing with Oakley for a while now about a range of Oakley watches becoming exclusive to Shade Station...and it is now official!

Once other retailers remove their current stock (very soon), we will be the only retailer in the UK that have the following models;

Minute Machine - http://www.shadestation.co.uk/Oakley-Minute-Machine-Watches-Watches.html
Hollow Point - http://www.shadestation.co.uk/Oakley-Hollow-Point-Watches.html
Twelve Gauge - http://www.shadestation.co.uk/12-Guage-Chrono-Watches.html
TimeBomb - http://www.shadestation.co.uk/Oakley-Time-Bomb-II-Watches.html

While I'm sure you see this as a step forward for your business, I don't think very highly of anything being exclusive to any one dealer. It simply allows the exclusive dealer to dictate prices. It's just like the SGH exclusives in the US. If you want the piece, you pay their price or settle for something else. Freedom of choice and competition benefits consumers. Exclusives benefit only the supply chain and dealers.

That's not to say I wouldn't do the same if I were running an Oakley dealership and the opportunity presented itself, so I'm not judging you...it's just that, as a rule, exclusives aren't necessarily a good thing for the consumer.

Just my opinion.

It's a very valid point you make there, however we aim to offer the best prices at all times regardless of whether the items are exclusive or not.

You guys can be assured that we are resolved to keeping our prices at the lowest possible level as at the end of the day we want to make our customers happy too :)
