only 1 lens on the left. as for the right lens i'm only want to have this color with etching polarized on the lens.

Forgive my ignorance but how could/would that be checked , any lenses I've trimmed to fit I've avoided polarized lenses because of this ?

You can check it against a screen, does it still darken at the same angle as before? If the cut is diagonal rather than in the same horizontal plane, then that angle will have changed.
