Oakleys Electronics Eyewear

I can probably use this for running. Definitely not for riding the bike. Any in ear audio device while riding bike is just a perfect recipe for accident. Considering Houston's stupid drivers and Texas road rage.

I don't these days (need to get back into it) but I used to ride quite a bit. Agree with Rich, don't trust Texas drivers. After I had one guy deliberately run me off the road (as a joke, I guess) I switched to trails / mountain biking exclusively; the Barton Creek greenbelt is a 14 mile round trip with a broad variety of trail conditions, from easy to extremely challenging.

My setup (as far as electronics go) was a handlebar-mounted speedometer / odometer and a small mp3 player / sport headphones blasting Slayer. It was all I needed; the info this Radar Pace provides could be easily monitored with that simple setup.

What I would be interested in is video recording ala GoPro, only taken to the next level. The time I was riding preceded the GoPro and devices of that class of the time didn't have the memory capacity and battery life to capture one of my full rides. But is was such an awesome extreme experience (at least parts of it) I would have loved to share it with people incapable of doing it themselves...

So if Oakley would take the GoPro concept to the next level, googleglass-ish, and have video recording glasses that could capture at least a couple of hours of HD video in a single session, I'd be interested.

Another thing that'd be cool is dual recording / selfie cam. Main video is the forward view, simultaneous selfie recording (from a peripheral pinhole camera on a small boom arm or something like that) shown as a window embedded in a corner of the main video. The facial expressions of the rider as he (or she) negotiates the challenging stuff would add to the experience, IMO...

Also might be useful for DIY porn...
