Of all the packages that USPS could have lost...

I had a pair of Polished XS get "lost" in the mail. Dont give up hope and keep checking the tracking number and keep calling USPS. Turned out my package had 2 different tracking numbers and I finally got it like 3 months later. Hope it all works out for you
 
Hang in there Shannon, I have a feeling it will show up when you least expect it. Might be a year from now but it will show up somewhere. Tell me it was insured properly.
 
The problem with loosing a package like this is even if it's insured it's not really "replaceable" is it............

So sorry to hear of your troubles, hopefully they do turn up eventually though which does seem to happen sometimes
 
So sorry to hear that, ive sent you packages from UK and when i am already in US and they all turned up. Hoping eventually they get back to the sender coz this happens sometimes. Hope youll get positive news.
 
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to inform the forum that the Concept Studio Bazooka Frogskins have gone missing in the mail.

For the past two months @Uluahunter and I have been in continuous communications with USPS to try locate the package that was mailed out to me from Hawaii on 02 December and didn't so much as show up on the tracking on the US mainland. The recent feedback from their Consumer Affairs department is that it's now at that point of their so-called investigation for the inquiry to go to the insurance claim department.

The strange bit is that the Bazooka's were mailed out at the same time as @teddy57 pair, who we all know received his.

I'm ever optimistic that these will eventually show up, but also know that I will need to shake myself awake from this nightmare at some point and accept that they may never turn up.

I've had well over 200 packages shipped to me from the US in the past 3 years, some taking much longer than anticipated, but always turning up to be collected. What makes this one different???

I tip my hat to Uluahunter for going above and beyond the call of duty for firstly helping me out when the pairs went on sale and again for taking time to try help track down the package. Mahalo Mate!

Mahalo Shannon! Let me say that Shannon has been very professional, patient and understanding throughout this entire fiasco thus far. This could've easily turned bad and started a war of words, but because Shannon has kept his cool, it's made dealing with this less stressful. Thank you Shannon!!!

That said, I'm beyond words. I've shipped all over the world and this is the first time I've experienced this situation. I mailed out two packages at the same time, and one got to its addressee (Teddy) without issue and the other (Shannon's) went missing! Both were mailed out the same day, same time and from the same location. I had prepaid labels on both, and physically scanned the packages in at the post office before handing them off to the agent. I am positive that I didn't miss anything on my end. All tracking info was immediately forwarded to the addressees and that was the last I seen of the packages.

Each time I've contacted the Consumer Affairs line for help and updates, I seem to get different information on how to handle the situation. And early on when I called the post office that I dropped off the packages to, I was told by the Supervisor that she can't help me and that packages or mail aren't guaranteed to reach their destinations. WTF!!!! She actually repeated it again, then when I questioned exactly what she said, she switched it up to say that just because a customer pays for a service it doesn't mean that the service is guaranteed. Again....WTF!!! So I reported her ass to Consumer Affiars, only to find out that she's had prior complaints about her attitude. Sorry, reliving the moment.

So we're now at the point of filing a claim for reimbursement. I'm starting the process as we speak and keeping Shannon in the loop as always. We'd both rather have the Bazooka Frog turn up and be delivered safely, albeit however late it is....but that hope is fast fading.

Just in case....can the group keep an eye out on eBay or all other auction sites, Craigslist, local buy & sell sites, etc? I truly hope that someone didn't "claim" these as lost and found in the USPS system and turn around to try and resell them. We can use all the help we can get...
