Hi all,

I'm new here in the forum, and need advice :)
Next my whisker I want to buy a Holbrook.
I have 3 options (all are for sale in a similar Hungarian site, as ebay):

http://olx.hu/hirdetes/oakley-holbrook-polarized-uj-ID21iGJ.html#ff7e8fd3b7
Condition: new, with serial number, and papers etc.

http://olx.hu/hirdetes/oakley-holbrook-julian-wilson-polarized-napszemuveg-ID2l9wN.html#95d9079a8d
Condition: lightly used, with box, and towel, no papers.

http://olx.hu/hirdetes/oakley-holbrook-ID28xB5.html#1945b3324f
He says: in original packing

The price for a Holbrook at official partner is around 40.000 HUF (just for compare)
Is it possible, that one of this aren't fake? Maybe all of these are original?

Best,
Daniel

I'm gonna call fake on all three. The first one's SKU is for the crystal blue pair (doesn't help that there is a square cleaning cloth provided which is a dead give away of a fake), the second one's signature looks all wrong and the icon & rivets look blue and not purple (but that could the camera flash) and the third one I can't find the combo of silver icons & rivets with violet iridium lenses as an official release. Probably best to stay clear of all three.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply.
I've found such combo as the third one (I've forgot, it's not violet, it's with polarized blue) as "customize your own"...
Maybe?
Another question: that small icon near the signature must be the same as the one at the official oakley homepage? Or not requirement?

If yes, this could be a good starting point...

The top pic is the signature on the pair I have vs the lower pic which is what you were asking about. You'll notice that the pattern to the left of the signature is more crisp than the other, the signature is more centred and there is a gap between the end of the signature and the start of the embossed "Holbrook"

I have a pair of Oakley Jawbones that I bought directly from oakley.com a year or two ago that I really like. I recently bought a pair from another seller. I would like to know if they are fake or real. They weigh the same as the one I know are real, feel solid, and as far as I can tell, look the way they should. The lenses from the jawbones I know are real fit them perfectly. However, the concern I have is that under the nose pieces and under the sunglass arms right near the hinge you can see white instead of red. The part under the arm near the hinge is a very small area of white. I've attached photos so you can see what I'm talking about. The other authentic jawbones I've seen do not have this and the frame is a consistent color even under the nose pieces. However, these are a different color frame from the ones I bought in the past and I was just wondering if anyone can tell me from viewing the photos if they are fakes?
