I didn't even replace the plexiglas I just
Polished it too. It took a lot of the superficial scratches out.

It either. So polishing was my only option. Good thing I have a lot of extra time at work.

When you hand sand 400-800-1000-1500-2000 grit steps when polish. All done by hand. It takes time.
