Specifically, would like to know how they compare to various popular legacy lenses, i.e. BIP, VR28 BIP, etc...

The most important question in here of course: how does it feel?
Does it have a plastic, cheap glass feeling, or is it a metal thing in every aspect, like heavy, massive, etc,?
Or does it feels like it would broke into pieces if you would accidentally sit on it in the car seat?

I they are an iconic image already and I only found out about them about 2 hours ago thanks to @qtrain23 posting on the Book.
There are some websites in Europe claiming to have them in stock? What do you think folks?
