Paints and plastics

I'm planning on doing some work on some glasses in the future. Are there any tips of paints. Like paints to avoid, prep advice, ect. Figure ask now and know what I'm doing before I start spending money. Also any paints that are the same color as factory colors like retina burn,sky blue ect that can be bought. Thanks in advance.

I do not. I could F up a bowl of cereal trucker, I don't do any painting outside of rolling walls at my wife's direction.
