End of June I bought three pairs of black matte PB1's (chilirambo_eu thread).
One for a Canadian forum member and two pairs for myself.
One of my pairs has a factory defect on the inside of the orbital.

Yesterday, after a month I've received an email from Oakley EU.
They will replace my frame, but they don't have the matte black frame anymore.
So they offered me two other frame options:
Polished Black/Gunmetal (last in stock)
or
Matte Rootbeer/Bronze

These are the pictures which they had attached to their email:

Yeah, for sure! Please send me the Polished Black/Gunmetal frame, was my answer.
After a while they confirmed my order via email and the replacement frame should show up in 5 - 6 business days.

dont get excited until you get them, as common perception oakley service reps doesnt know much, if they turns out as it is, you have a great deal from it, by then i will say congratz...keep us posted!

I wouldn't go for the Tron as there's no value in that frame ;) are you getting the box/bag etc as well or just the replacement frame.
OK for me it would be the lesser spotted TRON.
:hunter:
It's a "frame only" replacement, no bag, no box, no nothing.
For me it doesn't matter what they ship.
Tron would be cool, Gunmetal as well.
I bought two matte black PB's, because one frame was planned to be customized by the Doc (Split Jacket IH lenses are on it's way to me hahaha).
Btw they don't get their defective frame back ;)

Edit: Ooops, Message Count 2.500 - Party tonight, 9pm at my place

Sweet, that frame looks wearable still. I bet you can't see it when you have them on?
