One of my Penny's arms doesn't close right. I tightened it a but, and when it opens/closes...it has like a gritty feel to it. If I loosen the screw and use a drop of nano-oil (10W), it opens and closes but is a bit loose. The finish is XM and I don't want to wear down the finish. Any thoughts on what I can do to fix this? THANKS!

Those spring hunger are better than most other designs, but I'll have to let someone else chime in here.

I loosened it up a little to the point where the grit like feel is gone, but it doesn't have the same flex as the other side. Seeing these are low serial XM Pennies, I think I should probably send them to the X-Man and have them properly looked at. The bridge is still tight so......guess I'll send them when I send my other glasses to him, unless I can fix the issue myself somehow.
