Pitbull (the artist) is suing Oakley over the Pit Bull (sunglasses)

he´s a **** - he´s a douche - he´s a complete moron for this lawsuit...

BUT, he´s one of the wealthiest artists out right now...

he could literally do nothing for the next 40 years and still live more lavish and make more money than EVERYONE in this thread, combined HAHAHA !!!!

but yeah, what an idiot.....

The only thing I can see in his favor is that the Pit Bull was released in 2011, around the time he got his first #1 single (if o-review and Wikipedia are reliable sources). However, its 4 years later and those frames aren't even in production anymore as far as I know. On top of that the frame was part of a set of similarly named releases like the monster dog/pup/doggle. This reminds me a little of when Oakley had to rename the Jawbone. It was a name based on a design, not someone else's trademark. At least in that case the suing party had a legit argument.

wait wait wait....

i didn´t open the link because i´m blocked here at work, BUT:

(1) is he suing because of the "Pitbull" named glasses !?!?

or

(2) is he suing because of a sketchy deal with Oakley !?!?
