I'm too afraid to buy from E-bay. I'm not good enough to spot a fake.

In my opinion, the packaging is the best way to spot a fake on the bay. The matte black/titanium are the best fakes out there.

that is very true I also always look for the rivets on the ear stems if they are rivets they are real if they have screws they are fakes. Also anything from Canada is a fake
