Freakchops sold that a few weeks ago. I've noticed this guy buying up a few of Freakchops' items and marking them up ridiculously. New player.

So are they a prototype then or just a frame that has been polished.

I'm not sure. I didn't see a serial so it could go either way. Although I'd think that an etched serial would show through polishing.

There are a lot of rumored to be one two or three made certain models. I don't think anyone knows for sure.

@dragonvoi What's your take on this?

I have a set of plasma frames that have been polished and the serial number is still visible.

Custom polishing can remove etched serials very easily. Keeping serials are much more challenging as it requires finesse and attention to detail. As for this R1, unless it comes with a certificate of authenticity I'd say it's a "prototype" not done by Oakley.

It's lagit, he polished them himself, I ment got them from Oakley himself :D

I've seen another on eBay awhile back claiming it was a prototype, yet he had took pictures of the frame with the a serial still on the frame.
